I gave this a "thumbs down" simply because it seemed to be common knowledge for guys who watch "other podcasts" that Sanders had a girlfriend in Tennessee. Also, JUCK ON BUCKS was alerted to David Sanders giving the quasi "gang sign" of Vols with his fingers during a picture for OSU. I'm not saying Sanders isn't in the OSU fold as far as he's concerned, but David Sanders doesn't seem like your typical "offensive line/can't be without my girlfriend" college lineman. He aspires to medical school and therefore doesn't fit the "fat dude who can't live without his girl" that Kirk mocks. I think he and his "girlfriend" have some type of mature commitment that doesn't fit the ordinary stereotype. So the Scoop dropped the ball on this one. I love you guys and watch you often and love the family atmosphere you have with your patrons, but some of us aren't wired to be a perpetual fan boy. True friends will give a hard truth. And you guys were caught off guard with the Sander's/girlfriend info and I'm not sure you did Ryan Day any favors with your response...it seemed like a 'deer in the headlight' thing to me. How about we not start drinking our own Kool Aid when talking about how MASSIVELY AWESOME Ohio State is and possibly offend any recruit that many be watching, or their posse who may have influence. David Sanders isn't your typical lineman or typical student, ambition wise. So it seems that lumping players like him into some kind of "girlfriend crazy blob" seems too convenient and therefore not very savvy.

Missed your show because I was doing my own show. Y'all welcome to come on our show if you really want to debate Michigan issues. We can even have Mark Rogers (an OSU fan and head of "Voice of College Football") be the moderator. As for Michigan recruiting... Michigan fans are very happy. We are already #15 and have a shot at the top 10. Also Our #1 target did not go to OSU as was claimed. Roy was never the #1 target. Being somewhere between 10 and 20 in rankiing has netted Michigan 3 straight wins over OSU, 2 Straight B1G Title games, 3 straight College football playoffs (how many teams have done that?) and a National Title. Recruiting has to be very good, but it does not have to #1 for Michigan because they find hidden gems and they develop players and those players stay longer. Michigan has a very nice formula that works for them.

Anybody that would skip the Mich game isn’t worthy to wear the uniform. That will be the day I cease to be an OSU fan.

Let’s be honest here. OSU could buy every Michigan recruit they want. Michigan put out a statement saying “we don not pay highschool recruites” I have no idea how they are getting anyone the way teams like OSU are paying well over a million for 17 year olds or paying their parents anyways.

Watching this on replay. Not sure what the admin at Ohio State would feel about an appearance in The Natty and loose. But, the fan base is gonna call for his head. They did after the Syracuse loss last year and we all see what he's done!! O-H

Stop with this national title or bust crap 🙄 That concept does not even exist at a program like Ohio State. Every single year they have the talent and ability to win it all. That isn’t changing. We aren’t even the favorites to win a title this year! Kirby Smart is probably laughing at us with all the hype and pressure we are putting on the team. Meanwhile, not a soul is talking about Georgia and I’m sure he loves it that way.

Got to disagree Kirk. The loss to Michigan State in '98 was far worse than the loss in 2015 for the simple fact that we were up big on Sparty then and blew the lead to a vast underdog at home when they had NOTHING on the line. In 2015 both of us were playing for the same thing: a B1G title and a trip to the CFP. So when all things are even a loss to the opposition doesn't sting the same as a loss to an underdog does. Lets we forget how stagnant that offense was at times that season. It wasn't unti lthe TTUN and bowl game against Notre Dame when that Buckeye team looked like the team we had envisioned we'd see throughout 2015.

I've heard they have another punter with a year or two of experience.

My top 3 on the revenge list would be 1. Georgia. We're 0-2 all time against them in bowl games 30 years apart. And most especially losing to them as the clock struck Midnight New Year's Day 2023. What a bad way to bring in the New Year. 2. Florida. We're 0-2 against them in bowl games and most especially how they destroyed us in the 2006 BCS Title Game. 3. Florida State who we're 0-3 all time. We lost in back-to-back home games against them under Earl Bruce in the early '80s and then got drubbed by them in the '97 Sugar Bowl. Losing to Alabama in 2020 CFP title game I can't count because we weren't going to win that game anyway. Not with that defense and definitely not when many of our very best defenders were unavailable for that game because of COVID . Then losing Trey Sermon early on and a wacky defensive scheme by Keery Coombs was not going to beat what was arguably the best Alabama team ever. We still need to get more wins against them because they still have a winning record against us in the all-time series but I would not say we need vengeance against a team that was just flat out better than us either. I won't count Oregon in 2021 either because once again Kerry Coombs' wacky defensive scheme. That along with Stroud still figuring things out as a first-time starter coupled with the fact that prior to Oregon winning that game we had a 9-0 record against them all time. The Texas loss in '05 was a disappointing one but what would've happened if we beat them but still turned around and lost to Penn State in the manner we had a few weeks later? So if anything we need revenge against them for the loss in the '09 Fiesta Bowl on that last-minute play that Quinn Cosby scored on. The other teams to consider would be LSU and South Carolina who both have bowl wins over us since 2000. Last another and maybe the worst loss this side of the 63-14 loss to Penn State and the ones to Alabama in 2020 and vs Florida in '06 would be the 35-3 drubbing by USC in '08 at the Coliseum. That was bad.

I remember it started when Las Vagas Gambeling Comission tracked the IP to that 2021 Assit COY who then went to Flordia; seems they found his half time gambling, then video of Ohio State Practices from the OSU server, and also all the video from the Connor Stalions Operation. The information was shared to the entire coaching staff. NCAA is going to make -Ichigan "Twist and Shout".

Great show! This is the best time of the year with recruiting! I remember it was near July 4th when JT committed 2021. Inniss & Tate as well in 2022. Even though Justin Scott de-committed in November last year he committed early July 2023. Gotta wonder the big 5 stars coming here in the next week or so.

But I also live in Princeton West Virginia where there are very few opportunities and by this time next year I will be back in Columbus for the first time since I was 11 as far as living there I have been back since I have been back three times in the past year I even went to my first game last year in the shoe so I'm hoping my move to Columbus and I hope Kirk is right when he talks about how great Columbus is and how it's growing it just sounds like there's plenty of opportunities to grow if you're willing to work hard

I would tell everyone on the main roster that osu will give each player, along with the ring, 50,000 for winning the natty and beating Michigan. If they do both I would treat them well! It would just be one of many great things to provide even more motivation with I don't feel we are lacking at all but just an add on. I know it would make me play even harder but remember I say these things with being broke type of mindset. Just my opinion

He gives me Mike Hall vibes Then we have Zahir Mathis a top notch DE and Justin Hill who is slated as a JACK / LB hybrid along with Zion Grady Wow! DL would be looking real good
